Our club is involved in a variety of projects that involve fundraising, community service, and assisting children locally and worldwide. Here are some of our current and recent projects:
Warm The Children: Our Signature Service Project. Through fundraisers and generous donations from community members, we are able to provide up to $80 of new winter clothing for local children in need.
Roadside Litter Patrol: Monthly April through October, members pick up litter and trash along both sides of a 2-mile stretch of Route 7 between Sheffield and Great Barrington.
Food Drives: We plan to hold a Food Drive 3 or more times each year. We invite the community to drop off non-perishable food items, diapers and personal care & laundry products. Our volunteers sort and divide the donated items and deliver to Sheffield Food Assistance and People’s Pantry & CHP/WIC in Great Barrington.
Dictionary Project: the Club annually purchases and distributes new dictionaries to all 3rd graders in the Southern Berkshire and Berkshire Hills Regional School Districts.
