In order to carry out all the projects that Kiwanis is involved with throughout the year, each member is asked to join one or more committees.

Berkshire Choral Festival BarThe bar is open 5 days a week (Sun. thru Thurs.) from 4:30 pm until 6. We have two bartenders and a cashier at each session. The Festival runs 5 weeks -- this year from Sunday, July 9 until the last concert on Sat., August 12. 
Board of DirectorsThe Board of Directors regularly meets the third Tuesday of each month after the regular business meeting. 
Club BulletinWeekly Bulletins are uploaded on the sheffieldkiwanis.org web site by Wednesday morning of each week. Dick Goodwin

FinanceThe new budget (Admnistration, Function and Scholarship) for the 2004-05 Kiwanis year was passed in October by the Board of Directors. Copies are available from Treasurer Dick upon request. We don't like them circulated within the community.

Golf Tournament   
Highway Litter PatrolThe monthly Litter Patrols along a two-mile stretch of Route 7 from Kellogg Road north to the Mass. Electric Parking Lot ended with the October pick-up. 
Holiday CharitiesArthur and Bill will get our annual $250 check to Community Service and buy turkeys and most of the "trimmings" for two local food pantries. At Christmas time we add "Adopt a Family" to the charity list and shop for toys and clothing for need children. 
House Committee  
InternetProgress in updating and completing important data on the sheffieldkiwanis.org website continues. By the end of 2004 we hope to have the club's website so loaded with valuable information that members will want to check the source frequently.

Soup KitchenThe Kiwanis turn at the Breaking Bread Soup Kitchen at St. Peter's Center in Great Barrington occurs about once every 5 to 7 weeks. OUr next date is Thursday, January 6, 2005. Kitchen prep begins in late afternoon with serving starting about 5 p.m.
